Black Farmer’s Index, offers a region-by-region listing of Black farms. The data is ever-growing, so if you have a farmer to add, they welcome the addition. 

The Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) Program offers grants and education to farmers, educators, service providers, researchers and others to address key issues affecting the sustainability of agriculture throughout our region.

Soul Fire Farm is an Afro-Indigenous centered community farm committed to uprooting racism and seeding sovereignty in the food system. We raise and distribute life-giving food as a means to end food apartheid.  

The Freedmen Heirs Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promise of successful Black farms.  

 Black Urban Growers (BUGs) is committed to building networks and community support for growers in both urban and rural settings.  

The USDA's Farm Service Agency offers loans to help farmers and ranchers get the financing they need to start, expand or maintain a family farm.
